What is the difference between a good event and a great one? Easy, 570 PT cruisers came from as far as Canada, Ohio and Georgia to attend the 4th Annual CruiserFest 2004 in Modesto, California.

What is usually a sleeply little town located in the central valley of California turns into a weekend of incredible fun. Hotels fill up, and the entire town square is closed down to accomodate hundreds of PT Cruisers. CruiserFest Director, and the founder of CF, Keith Sellers has the organization of this event down to a science.

Friday night, great music, car displays, and PT Cruiser light shows that entertain and draw thousands to the square to celebrate the PT Cruiser with its enthusiasts.

Saturday night more of the same. This year over 270 cars particpated in the lightshow festivities alone. All day Saturday and a good part of Sunday PT's cruised to the cool shores of the river in Davis Community Park for Pic Nic's show and shines, raffles, shopping, and more.

An incredible and moving tribute to the fire fighters that gave their lives to save others on 9-11 was commerated with the release of ceremonial doves and the traditional fire fighters bell ringing. John Van de Groenekan and his Stars and Strips PT Cruiser, a rolling tribute to these great heros set the backdrop for the ceremonies.

Lots of great food, a DJ, and good friends set the tone for a fantastic three day weekend.
